Hourglass Illume Sheer Color Trio Review

Hourglass Illume Sheer Color Trio Review

With summer travel season in full swing, I decided to pick up the Hourglass Illume Sheer Color Trio to simplify my travel makeup bag. The compact is approximately 4 inches by 3 inches and houses a bronzer, blush, and highlight for $62. That is a steep price for 3 products, but Hourglass is a premier makeup brand with a host of holy grail products in their repertoire. So, is this worth the money? Click here to read my full review.

Physician’s Formula Oil Elixir Review

Physician's Formula Oil Elixir ReviewFacial oils are an absolute must-have for my dry/combo skin, especially before applying foundation. So, when I started running low of my Lancome Absolue Precious Oil a few months ago (and didn’t have $185 to buy more) I started looking for dupes. Best Anti-Frizz Product? Lubricity Labs Review

Best anti-frizz productI hadn’t heard of the company until a few months ago when Dr. Boyce Clark was featured on our local news segment in Baton Rouge, LA. Lubricity Labs uses naturally derived ingredients to transform your frizzy locks into sleeker, more manageable hair in 2 easy steps, but does it really work? Too Faced Melted Matte Lipstick in Lady Balls

Too Faced Melted Matte Lipstick in Lady BallsFor several years now, Rimmel Provocalips Liquid Lipsticks were my go-to formula, especially in the color – Play with Fire. After they stopped releasing new shades and became sparse in my local drugstore, I had to find a new favorite red. The Too Faced Melted Matte Lipstick in Lady Balls has filled that void for me, but is it as comfortable, long-wearing, and transfer-proof as my beloved Rimmel? See below for links and the full review. Continue reading “Too Faced Melted Matte Lipstick in Lady Balls”

Milk Makeup Shadow Quad Review

Milk Makeup Shadow Quad Review In my defense, this purchase was peer pressure. Yep, it was Mother’s Day and my husband came with me into the store. He’s such a doll and wanted to buy me some new makeup, because he knows I love it so much. The problem is, I can’t buy stuff when he’s watching me. It’s like peeing in a public forum, I just can’t do it. I get stage fright. So, instead of being honest when he sweetly picked up the Milk Makeup Shadow Quad and said “this would look pretty on you.” I hesitantly nodded as he dropped it into the Sephora basket. Truth is, I knew better, but sometimes you just gotta take a chance on a long shot. Please continue reading of the full Milk Makeup Shadow Quad Review.
