Sauna Suit Weight Loss

After reading some decent reviews, I decided to purchase an Everlast Body Slimmer from Amazon.com. I received my order 11 days ago and wanted to share some pros and cons.

First of all, my first thought upon opening the package was that there was no way in hell that my butt would fit into it. I was partially right on this one, as I had to pour myself into it and make a serious effort not to zip my skin. After 10 minutes I was in!

It covers the right areas of the body (for me at least) that gain the most fat, which is below my bra to above my knees. I wear a fluctuating jean size of between a 10 and 14, so I purchased the L/XL. Unfortunately, if you wear larger than a 16, I am not sure this product would be of any use.

The rubber smell can be somewhat off-putting at first but does fade with time. I read in some of the other reviews that this bothered some people enough to return the item. To me, it wasn’t that big of a deal. After the first couple of workouts you can hardly notice the smell. The only thing I can compare the material to is a scuba wet suit.

My first workout consisted of a 1 mile brisk walk with friends at a track a few miles from my house. I didn’t want to over do it the first time, especially not knowing how my body would react to the material. I have extremely sensitive skin and had a Wal-Mart Gold’s Gym belt break me out into a terrible, burning rash. I also didn’t want to overheat. This suit has not broken out my skin at all.

The scuba suit did exactly what I expected it to do. It made my butt, stomach, legs….and umm, va-jay-jay (sorry) sweat. Super Soaked! If you have to stop your workout to go to the restroom, you may never be able to get the thing back up!

All that being said, my weight has dropped, quite significantly. 10 pounds in 11 days! I’m rehydrating daily but the weight continues to drop. I could not be more excited! I have changed my eating habits only minimal, still consuming 1600 – 1800 calories per day. 1 day I had 2200 calories and on Thanksgiving, probably more. A lot more…

Anyway, I hope this helps some of you struggling with stubborn extra weight below the waist. I figured for $20 you can’t beat it! This would be a great time of the year to try the body slimmer especially with the holidays here.

Thanks for reading! Please comment and subscribe for more!

  1. Thanks so much for your review! I have been looking at buying one of these and it sounds like something that is just what I need to boost the weight loss! My legs and rear especially have a hard time losing the weight so I’m hoping this will help. Thanks again 🙂
