Football Game Makeup

Gameday MakeupGoing to Pro football games has been so much fun over the years, especially as a New Orleans Saints fan. Ever since Hurricane Katrina, the city has a new-found appreciation for the team. The games are more electric and the crowds are fun-loving. Well, in New Orleans, they’re always fun-loving… they just can’t help themselves!!!

Since it’s Sunday, I wanted to do an easy “Gameday” football game makeup and hair look for all the football fans out there. Of course you don’t have to be going anywhere to wear this look. It’s quick, simple, feminine, and sexy plus I’m using very photo friendly products to make your complexion look perfect, GUARANTEED.

The first thing is the products:

Gameday Makeup

I’m going in order of application.

The Primer: I use Smashbox Photo Finish Light Oil-free. This stuff is a must-have for any photograph. Flash photography will love you.

Foundation: Make Up For Ever HD Foundation. It has no SPF so there is no chance of flashback.

Concealer: For my undereye  circles I use Clinique Airbrush Concealer and for the blemishes on my face (ugh) I use Revlon Photoready Stick concealer.

The Revlon Photoready is the top and the Clinique is the bottom. Revlon is coming across a little glittery for some reason. It is not glittery at all.

Blush: Make Up For Ever HD Blush #6 It’s a very light, pinky peach color with no shimmer. It stays in place too.

Highlighter: This is healthy glow in a tube! Sonia Kashuk Perfecting Translucent Illuminizer on the tops of my cheekbones, center on my nose and cupids bow.

Powder: I powder the face to set everything with MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural. I light dusting will suffice.

Bronzer: Benefit Hoola on my cheekbones, forehead and temples. It has no shimmer and looks very natural. I love this stuff!

Eyeshadow: I use MAC Cork all over the lid and blend it up into the crease. I use MAC Espresso to define the crease just a little. Blend that out with MAC Brulee into the browbone. For the lower lash line I blend out MAC Pigment in Chocolate Brown.

Eyeliner: I line my eyes with Physician’s Formula Eyebooster in Ultra Black and my waterline with MAC Teddy.

For my Mascara, I used Loreal Voluminous False Fiber Lashes

IMG_1453For brows I usually use Nuance Brow pencil but the last time I went to CVS they were sold out, so I had to get the Nuance shape and define brow kit. It’s not my favorite but it will do until I find a new favorite.

For my lips, I’ve got the Neutrogena Moisture Smooth Color Stick in Juicy Peach. These are soft and natural.

Spritz your face with MAC Fix+ and then apply the lashes of your choice. I can’t remember what these lashes are (above) so I’m not going to include a big picture.

So, all you have left is your hair! Big beachy waves are the way to go at the games. They’re natural and cute. I’ll do a hair tutorial in a few days using my new curling iron from Sally’s beauty supply. Until then, enjoy a few fan pics from the New Orleans Saints home games.
