Buying high-end makeup at bargain prices is my favorite way to shop. Browsing online stores like eBay (20% off discount code below) and other discount stores are not only fun (well not if you’re losing) but also saves a ton of money. Let’s face it, $300 of luxury makeup won’t get you far, especially from brands like Givenchy, Charlotte Tilbury, and Natasha Denona. If you have the time, a sense of humor, and a little know-how, you can get authentic products for pennies on the dollar. As I stated in my last article, Stila Magnificent Metals Shimmer and Glow Liquid Eyeshadows are some of the MOST BEAUTIFUL metallic shadows, ever. They are smudge proof, transfer proof, and stay put all day. They’re also quite pricey, usually running $24 each if bought separately on Sephora website. Luckily, I was able to find them much cheaper on eBay. $9.82 for a set of 2! I picked up the shade Grace, which is a rose-gold ultra foil and Kitten, a vibrant nude/pink. Both are staple shades and will get a lot of usage.

After watching one of my favorite YouTubers, RawBeautyKristi, do a mini review of the Cover Fx Illuminating Setting Spray, I knew I had to have it. The nozzle has the finest mist (almost unable to feel) but the glow it provides is, dare I say, life changing? Yes, I’m formally throwing that out there. It’s a Holy Grail product IF you like glowy skin. For a full-size 4 oz. bottle it’s $31. I got it brand new for $10 on eBay.

Charlotte Tilbury is a renowned makeup artist and started her own premier makeup range a few years ago. Her products are beautifully designed with rich textures and a luxurious feel. Due to the high price point of her products, for many that makes it unattainable. I was able to find a 7 – pack sample of her Magic Cream and her professional Blusher brush for $15. The brush was used, but came with the original box, was clean, and extremely soft. It applied my bronzer, powders, and blusher like a dream. Win – win in my book! Brush retails for $40 and her Magic Cream $55 per ounce. I probably got about .5 of an ounce from the samples.

Total Savings: $49.50

Another very well known makeup artist that has created a luxury line is Natasha Denona. Her eyeshadows hit the market in 2015 (click here to read my review) and totally changed the makeup game. They are expensive, but great quality. There are counterfeit palettes out there, so educating yourself on the subtle differences between real and fake is key. Her 5 shadow palettes retail for $48 each. I was able to find it on eBay for $10.

If you’re a fan of Kat Von D Beauty, then you will love to know that TJ Maxx and Marshalls stores are carrying many of the brand’s staple products at drastically discounted prices. The famous Shade and Light face palette can be found at $24.99 and her Studded Kiss lipsticks are listed for $6.99 each. Those are $21 Retail! I picked up 4. Lovecraft, Lolita, Cathedral, Vampira

Finally, there’s Givenchy. Their products are extremely expensive and you’re either gonna love it or hate it. The brand has a cult following for their interesting products and edgy-yet-classy packaging. The Givenchy Blush Memoire De Forme – or Jelly Blush (in the shade Rose Delicate 2) is $39 Retail, but I found it for $9. The color is absolutely gorgeous and has a light, coral sheen. I can’t wait to give this a try!

Total Savings: $30

Overall, I am extremely happy with the savings. I bought 10 Luxury Makeup at Below Drugstore Prices – not including free samples. I encourage everyone who is interested in makeup to buy cheaper, buy smarter, and don’t be afraid of the online auction world. It’s fun and if you don’t like the product, most sellers offer a return policy.
