Naturade VeganSmart Review

Naturade VeganSmart ReviewSince the beginning of 2014 I’ve been #obsessed over the all-in-one Naturade VeganSmart shakes. O-M-G they are so good!

As a vegetarian, it is important to not have animal bi-products in my food. That can be a challenge due to the influx of processed foods in our grocery stores. I had no idea the amount of food that contain animal fats! VeganSmart shakes take the guesswork out of the equation while still making me feel full and satisfied at only 170 calories. Most importantly, it’s Non-GMO! For a list of nutritional info click here.

Naturade VeganSmart Review

I tried all 3 flavors – Chocolate, Vanilla, and Chia. The Vanilla was my favorite. Chocolate came in at a close second because I found the texture a bit grainy. However, it had a great flavor. I mixed the whole packet with cold water or milk, put it in my to-go cup and am out the door to start my day.

To offset the texture of the chocolate, I would blend it up with a few bananas and strawberries for an amazing and healthy dessert smoothie. This was my daughter’s favorite afternoon snack, even though she is not a vegetarian.

Overall, Naturade VeganSmart is highly recommended. At $34.99 for 22.75 oz it’s a great deal. It has so many nutrients that are all plant-based, probiotics, fiber, omega-3, and non-gmo proteins. It’s everything you could ask for in a meal replacement or dietary supplement.

Thank you so much for reading this Naturade VeganSmart Review! Also, thank you to Naturade for creating such an awesome product. If you are interested in Naturade VeganSmart, you can check out their website http://vegansmartshake.com. Buy their products here.

Vinh Phat Market Review and Haul

Vinh Phat Market

If you live in the vicinity of Baton Rouge, Louisiana you may (or may not) be aware of this little Asian market on Florida Blvd. called Vihn Phat Market. I took a mini field trip with my girls today for a little culture, groceries, and other goodies. Secretly, I wanted to go there to see if they had any cool asian makeup brands that I had never heard of. At the very least, I wanted the MEGA GIANT PACK of false lashes you see on Ebay. Unfortunately, they didn’t have any beauty supplies but it was a fun trip non-the-less.

It’s a vegetarian formula and is taken to promote healthy, thicker, longer, more vibrant hair. There are no fillers, zero binders, and zero artificial ingredients.

The capsules are average in size and go down easily. This brand seems to have a great blend of ingredients that aid in hair growth.

Oz-Approved Crash Diet Review

Yesterday, a friend posted a link to the Dr. Oz website which features Dr. Oz and a fellow Physician introducing a “breakthrough” crash diet. The diet is simple: consume only fruits, vegetables, nuts and grains that are nutrient dense. Eat as much as you want and within 7 days you will be at least 1 dress size smaller. It is common to lose 10 pounds the very first week. Was I intrigued? Absolutely!

I’m going to put it to the test!

Here is the link to check it out. Click here for Part 1! Click here for Part 2! Click here for the complete plan article.

Update: After almost 2 weeks of this diet, I feel great! I have lost 7 pounds which was expected. The only downside to this plan is that it is very hard to continue. It’s nearly impossible to go to a restaurant, and if I slip and eat things that I’m not supposed to eat, I immediately want more! Mostly mental I think.

This way of living and eating takes dedication. A lot of it. However; it can be done and mastered. It just is not the right fit for me.

I encourage anyone wanting a change to try it. You may find it easier than me.
