Chanel Vitalumiere Dupe

There are 100’s of different foundations out there to choose from. If you are a fan of high-end foundations, particularly the Chanel Vitalumiere Moisture-Rich fluid foundation, then you know that the price tag is quite expensive. At the Neiman Marcus website you pay roughly $55 for 1 fl oz. of product. The Chanel foundation is great for women looking for a light/medium coverage with dry to combination skin. It gives you a dewy, radiant glow that is natural and healthy looking. It is also great for maturing skin that has lost that natural radiance.

However; if it’s the foundation you love (and not just the Chanel name) you can get the exact same results from another foundation from Target for $10.49. Sonia Kashuk Perfecting Luminous Foundation offers .6 fl oz. and some of the same results as the Chanel brand. The only noticeable difference is the Chanel foundation has a SPF 15.

**Wearing a daily SPF is very important and should be worn if you will be spending any time outside but IF you have your own separate sunscreen, it can be worn underneath the Sonia Kashuk.

Hope this helps! Thanks for reading my Chanel Vitalumiere Dupe post. If you haven’t yet, Subscribe! It’s free, easy, and you will be the first to know about new products! Stay tuned for more makeup and beauty reviews on Uhapibeauty.com.

Fun & Trendy Rings

If you are a fan of designer jewelry, then you will love Jewelrypayless.com. They offer really cute replica jewelry by some of the major fashion houses, like – Tiffany and Ross Simons to name a few. The big trend of 2011 is big and bold statement rings. One way to make a statement is with these cute and fun animal rings.

The snake ring here is $85.99, Gecko $47.99, Dolphin $52.99, Pig $149.99. They also have a really cute elephant, butterfly, frog, and panther!

OPI Cajun Shrimp

The perfect color for any Louisiana girl. The color is called “OPI Cajun Shrimp”. A bright, coral red that is a perfect Spring/Summer and for any skin tone. When I received it last week, the color strongly resembled a color I previously bought called “OPI on Collins Ave”. I have a comparison picture below. “Collin’s Ave.” on the left, “Cajun Shrimp” on the right.

The only difference on my nails that I noticed was the “Collin’s Ave.” had a glossy finish before my Seche Vite topcoat. The “Cajun Shrimp” was more of a matte finish but became glossy after the topcoat. Finished look below:

If you buy it from Amazon you will probably spend around $7.00 which is a steal for OPI. Better than most brands you can purchase at Wal-Mart. However; please be aware that there are some people who sell counterfeit OPI products. If this doesn’t bother you, that’s ok but there are videos on YouTube that explain the differences between real OPI products and counterfeit. If you are interested, check them out.

Top 10 Worst Beauty Products

1. Amuse USA Ultrafine Eyeliner – Retail price $2.99
This eyeliner does not transfer at all to the skin, even after warming. Even though the price is very cheap for an eyeliner, it is worthless if it does not do what it is intended for.

2. Burt’s Bees Therapeutic Bath Crystals – Retail price $ 12.99

Burt’s Bees has become a go-to product across the US and beyond. However; these items have little to be desired. The bath salt’s fragrance is entirely too strong to be used by women. The smell will literally burn your eye balls. Not very therapeutic! I would not recommend this product for anyone prone to skin problems for that reason alone.

3. Cargo Blu_Ray High Definition Lip Gloss – Retail Price $24.00

Calling this lipgloss both Blu_Ray and High Definition is a huge gimmick and dare I say, Rip-off? That is the only reason they could put a $24 price tag on a relatively ordinary lipgloss. It is just that- Very Ordinary. Nice packaging though.

4. Hard Candy Baked Blush & Glitter Shadows – Retail price $7.00 (Blush) $4.50 (Eyeshadow)

I realize that I don’t fall into this brand’s typical demographic. That being said, I don’t want my teenage daughters in the future running around looking terrible. The colors are nice and pleasant to look at, but don’t transfer well onto the skin. The eyeshadow is extremely chalky which makes the product settle under the eyes. Unless you are Taylor Momsen, this isn’t a highly desired look.

5. Kerastase Nutritive Vernis Nutri-Sculpt Ultra Shine Top-Coat (hair) – Retail price $ 28.99

This product promises an ultra shiny sheen to bouncy, finished hair. In actuality, it creates a dry, coarse, crunchy feel and falling curls. If used with a flat iron, it becomes sticky and adheres to the iron which will fry your hair. Since it contains alcohol, that makes perfect sense. Trust me – It’s not a good look.

6. Kevin Murphy Fresh Hair Dry Cleaning Spray (hair) – Retail price $24.99

Says it removes odors, excess oil, and your sins. It does none of those things. It makes your hair appear to have a slight dandruff problem on unwashed, dirty hair.

7. Milani Infinite Liquid Eyeliner 24 hour wear – Retail price $6.49

This eyeliner product works great. If you want your eyeliner to last 24 hours, it does what it promises. It’s waterproof and smudgeproof. The problem with this product is the applicator brush. It is very hard to control and has long strands which creates some serious makeup issues. If you do make a mistake (and you will) you cannot get this stuff off! I had to remove mine with baby oil!

8. NARS Pro-Prime Skin Smoothing Face Prep – Retail price $32.00

Promises that one application will minimize fine lines, pores and creates a smoother, more even complexion. Well, maybe that would be true if I could get the damn stuff out of the container! $32 for 0.26 Oz. it better make me look like Angelina Jolie. I may never find out though…

9. Pure Ice Fingernail Polish – Retail price $4.50

The only 2 problem I have with this brand is the polish durability and opacity. I would like to paint my nails with less than 5 coats and enjoy the color for more than 24 hours.

10. Zeno Acne Treatment Device Mini – Retail price $50.00

The Zeno Mini does not live up to any of its promises. If anything, it transfers bacteria from one area to another. Thus, creating more embarrassing acne. In my experience, the pimples never have reduced in size or become less inflamed. I would recommend going to a Dermatologist for any reliable acne treatments. At least you will get your $50 worth.

Chanel & Louis Vuitton iphone case

These are not authentic designer Chanel or Louis Vuitton iphone cases but they are really cute and shiny! They also will run you around $12.99 at www.sourcesquare.com
