Day to Night Holiday Eye Looks

Here are 2 Day to Night Holiday Eye Looks that I think are perfect for fun, holiday festivities. One, using a simple statement liner for day and the other a sexy night time party look. Both are using one common pigment, Makeup Geek Liquid Gold. I just posted a review on this pigment yesterday. If you’re interested in reading that click here.

I’ll start with the day look first!

The day time look literally took 5 minutes. For the eyeshadow base I used MUFE Flash Neutral palette in the lightest shade. I won’t be doing that again however, because it caused creasing over time.

I then used my Lorac Pro 2 Palette for the eyeshadows. I applied Buff all over the eyes first. Then, I blended Lt. Brown and Cool Grey in the crease. I also blended those 2 colors on the lower lash line.

To darken the crease a bit, I added a touch of black shadow. Finally, I added a little Snow to the brow bone for a subtle highlight and Beige to the inner corner of the eye.

For the liner, I used my trusty Physician’s Formula 2 in 1 lash boost liquid liner. I applied it thick across the lash line. For the gold, I wet my liner brush with water. Dip and swirl the wet brush into the Makeup Geek Liquid Gold to create this lovely metallic gold liner. It was really beautiful the way it catches the light in person.

This was the result for the Daytime Holiday look! Now onto night. So, you’re looking for a party look that decadent and lux, but don’t want to spend a ton of money. Well, I’ve got your back!

Using the same Lorac Pro 2 palette in the shade Navy, I applied it all over the eye and blended into the crease and blew it out gently.

I found a great liner at CVS from Revlon and applied that to the water line and winged it out (sort of an inverted eye liner.) It’s called Photoready Kajal. This was my first time trying it.

Finally, I added mascara (Almay 3 in one) and some lashes for a bit more drama. That was it. E-Z-P-Z! Check out the final look.
