Sweet & Shimmer Eyeshadow Quad Review

The Sweet & Shimmer Eyeshadow Quads retail for $2.99 from Ulta. They were strategically placed near the checkout counter for wandering eyes to catch. It’s like colorful candy packaging for children. It works!

There are 4 different varieties, though I only picked up 3. The other quad was very similar to the other 3 so I didn’t see a reason to buy it. AT first glance they are really quite cute, compact eyeshadow quads with all shimmer shades.

Sweet & Shimmer Eyeshadow Quad ReviewThere’s a gold toned, pink/purple toned, and blue/navy toned quad. Each pan smaller than a dime. Pigmentation is kinda hit-and-miss with these. One set of shadows stood out amend the rest.

Sweet & Shimmer Eyeshadow Quad ReviewThe gold toned shadows were not that great. These are very typical, common shades you can find in any run of the mill palette from the drugstore. Pigmentation is not great. Check below for swatches.

Sweet & Shimmer Eyeshadow Quad ReviewThe pink/purple toned quad is great! The shades are buttery soft and the shades are unique. One of the colors is a pink/blue duo chrome that would look amazing wet on the lid. Gorgeous!

Sweet & Shimmer Eyeshadow Quad ReviewThe blue toned quad is very poor. They are a bit chalky and sheer. Not my favorite.

Sweet & Shimmer Eyeshadow Quad ReviewThe back of the quads are super cheap looking. Very poor quality plastic and the lid will fall off if not careful.

Sweet & Shimmer Eyeshadow Quad ReviewIf you decide to try these out, please be advised that they have no name so finding them is based on color. Here is the back of the packaging.

Sweet & Shimmer Eyeshadow Quad ReviewI was totally unimpressed with these eyeshadow quads except for the one shade. I hardly see the worth in keeping them just for that one unique shade. I will be bringing these back to Ulta ASAP.
